Spend your Saturday mornings with us in Kearney, MO. Our Farmers Market has a wide variety of fresh produce, flowers, plants, microgreens, meat, eggs, baked goods, spices, wood carved treasures, art, handmade crafts, and more! You can be sure you are shopping local as everything sold at the market is produced within 50 miles of Kearney.Â

Did you know July is American Grow  Flowers and Foliage Month?
- July 6: All Hail to the Red, White and Starry Blue. Let’s continue to celebrate our Independence!  The Kearney-Holt Motorshow will be at Walnut Creek Winery from 10am-2pm.Â
- July 13: Health Check Day with North Kansas City Hospital.Join NKCH Community Health & Wellness for a free health screening at the Kearney Farmers Market. We will be offering screenings for blood pressure, fasting cholesterol and blood sugar. Fasting for 8 hours preferred. Pre-registration is available, walk-ups are welcome.Â
- July 20: Kids Day! In addition to our young entrepreneurs, we’ll also be collecting back to school supplies for the Kearney School District 2024 Back to School Resource Fair. Please bring donations of: Highlighters, Glue (bottle and sticks), Loose Leaf Paper.
- July 27: Christmas in July! Enjoy a touch of Christmas as our vendors bring their best as always for our annual Christmas in July.
- August 3: National Farmers Market Week & National Watermelon Day. The Kearney-Holt Motorshow will be at Walnut Creek Winery from 10am-2pm.
Kids Day - July 20
A Farmers Market run entirely by kids! Now accepting youth vendors for this real-world experience!
- Participation: Entrepreneurs ages 5 to 17 can participate in our farmer’s/craft market run entirely by kids!
- Products: children can sell anything! It can be handmade, food, games or services.
- Selling: At our market, the kids must do the selling! They are in charge of all aspects of their business. (No bartering allowed).
- Booths: All booths are a 10’x10′ space and families bring all their own supplies (table, canopy, etc).
- Parents: Mom and Dad can help set up, then get to sit back and watch their kiddos run the show, all on their own! Parents are welcome, but are strongly encouraged to stand back and let the children deliver their pitch and close the sale.
- Register: Space is limited so you’ll want to sign up early! Registrations are required, and there are no refunds or waiting lists. Registration is $20 for your first market of a calendar year. Subsequent markets are $15 in the same year. 2024 dates: June 22, July 20, August 17.Â
