Give people a reason to stop in Kearney & Holt!


We’re officially 51 days out from the global tournament kickoff (June 11–July 19, 2026). The closer we get, the more people will make last-minute plans—where to stay, where to eat, what to do, and how to fill the hours between activities in Kansas City.


Here’s the opportunity for Kearney & Holt: we’re the easy, comfortable, low-stress option—close enough to KC to be part of the excitement, and far enough to feel simple. And this summer, Kearney isn’t just “near the action”… we’re creating our own.


This week’s goal


Create one clear offer that makes someone say: “Yep—let’s go there.”


Why this matters for Kearney

  • When KC gets busy, people often stay local for convenience—meals, errands, and entertainment.
  • Visitors staying in our hotels still need breakfast, coffee, dinner, essentials, and experiences.

This is our moment to be the place that’s easy to choose.

Watch parties bring people together, and people who gather also eat, shop, and explore. Your one offer can be:

  • “Watch Party Holiday Special”
  • “Grab-and-go bundle”
  • “Family pack”


4) Jesse James Birthplace (our year-round magnet)

Visitors already come from around the country—and around the world—to experience authentic Americana here. Keep your offer tied to that story:

  • “Kearney Original” featured item

  • “Visitor favorite” bundle
