Ambassadors are the Chamber's welcoming face and voice, helping new members build relationships, find resources, and become visible.
Tourism Development advances Shop Local work and regional visitor campaigns, while the Board and Leadership Committee guide long-term direction and leadership development.
Ambassador Committee
Welcome members, build relationships, support retention, and champion local business growth.
Tourism Development
Promote local discovery, regional tourism, visitor activity, and Shop Local initiatives.
Board of Directors
Shape policy, programs, partnerships, and the Chamber's long-term fiscal health.
Leadership Committee
Design curriculum, mentor participants, and grow Empower Kearney's community impact.
Ongoing and seasonal teams
Focused expertise when the work calls for it.
Not every committee meets all year. Some assemble around a specific responsibility, season, or decision.
Finance Committee
Recommends financial policies, goals, and budget alignment with the Chamber's mission and strategic plan.
Nominating Committee
Convenes each April to prepare the annual slate of candidates for the Board of Directors.
Scholarship Committee
Reviews Kearney High School applications each spring and selects Chamber and Southern Bank scholarship recipients.
