All proceeds of the event will go to local charities, including the Kearney Chamber of Commerce and the Kearney Enrichment Council. Check social media and this website for updates!


We are seeking volunteers to assist with festival activities.   

Individuals or groups interested in volunteering to assist at the festival should contact KEC at admin@kearneyenrichmentcouncil.org for more information, or visit the on-line sign up form.

SAVE THE DATE for Kearney's 14th Annual Oktoberfest celebration in downtown Kearney! Activities include live music, local vendors, kid's inflatables, Oktoberfest competitions, and more!

Event Date: Saturday, October 4th

Event Time: 12pm - 6pm


Oktoberfest Schedule

9 am - 12 pm: Oktoberfest 5K - Das Bier Run! (8am Reg)

10:30 am: Beer Yoga by Clarissa Gibbs Yoga/Wellness at Evergreen Wellness (beginners welcome!)

Lions Park Festivities (timing)

12 pm:  Welcome & Mayor's Beer Tapping - Main Stage

12 pm: Studio 320 Dance Team Performance

1 pm: Limitless Karate Demonstration - pending

immediately followed by music from The Brian McCarty Band 1-3PM - Main Stage

2 pm: KHS Band & Cheer Performance

3 pm: KHS Robotics Demonstration - pending

3 - 6 pm Music from The Craftsmen - Main Stage

Washington Street Festivities (timing)

1 - 5 pm: Cornhole Tournament

JIm Bach Memorial EVENT

Jim Bach was a very dedicated member of St. Michael’s Knights of Columbus Council 8915 and was very instrumental in starting the Oktoberfest in our community.

Join us for a fun-filled day at Lion's Park to celebrate the legacy of Jim Bach and his contributions to the Kearney community. Enjoy food, drinks, and entertainment while remembering the good that Mr. Bach and others have done for this community.
