Honest Abe Roofing of Kansas City Announces Opening and October 15 Grand-Opening Celebration

Locally owned franchise invites homeowners, businesses and community members to its Holt office for an open house and ribbon cutting.

Honest Abe Roofing of Kansas City plans to begin operations Monday, October 12, 2026, and will celebrate with a community grand opening on Thursday, October 15, from noon to 3 p.m. Central. The event will take place at 4853 S E PP Hwy, Holt, MO 64048, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:30 p.m., coordinated with the Kearney Chamber.

Led by local franchise owner Derek Weber, the business is opening to serve homeowners across its approved Missouri service area with roof inspections, repairs and replacements. The Kansas City team also plans to serve its Kansas territory once applicable registration requirements are completed. The Holt office will serve as the local team’s base, with an emphasis on helping homeowners understand their roof’s condition and available options before deciding how to proceed.

“Opening this office is about building relationships with the homeowners and businesses we serve,” said Weber. “We want people to know the team they’re calling, feel comfortable asking questions and understand their options. We’re excited to welcome our neighbors and the local business community on October 15.”

The grand opening will give guests an opportunity to meet Weber and the team, tour the office and connect with other community members. Lunch and refreshments will be available during the open house. Guests are welcome to stop by throughout the afternoon or attend the ribbon cutting at 1:30 p.m.

Homeowners, neighboring businesses, real estate professionals, property managers, home inspectors and community organizations are invited. Guests planning to join the team for lunch are encouraged to contact Weber in advance to help with food planning.
