The KSD Education Foundation’s Annual Turkey Trot is an invigorating way to start your Thanksgiving Day! This event promotes family-friendly health and fitness and is a fun Kearney tradition. All proceeds will be used to support innovative classroom initiatives, scholarships, and the KSD cross country team.
Route details: The route is a paved trail on a closed road. The terrain is mostly flat.
Registration Fee: Registration fees are not refundable for any reason, including weather, and cannot be transferred to another year or participant.

● NO need to pre-register, meet on the North East side of the track at 8:00 am
● This race is open to children ages 1 to 5.
Prizes / Awards:
● 4-Mile: first male and female to cross the finish line.
● 1-Mile & 4-Mile: first stroller to cross the finish line
● 1-Mile & 4-Mile: best-dressed Turkey Trot outfits.
Medals/Ribbons:
● 4-Mile: top 3 finishing males and females
● 1-Mile: top 3 finishing boys and girls (ages 14 and under)
● 1-Mile & 4-Mile: finishing youth will receive a ribbon
