Kearney School District Education Foundation

The KSD Education Foundation (KSDEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that expands educational opportunities for students and educators in the Kearney School District. Through the generosity of donors, business partners, alumni, parents, staff, and community members, we help turn "We Wish We Could" into "We Can" by funding opportunities beyond what tax dollars provide.

Since our founding in 2010, KSDEF has invested more than $700,000 to support Kearney schools through programs and initiatives that make a lasting impact, including:

• Educator Grants that provide funding for innovative classroom projects, hands-on learning experiences, and resources that enhance student learning.
• Scholarships that help graduating seniors pursue higher education and career training.
• The Grow Your Own Program, which invests in the future of Kearney schools by supporting aspiring educators as they pursue careers in education.
• New Teacher Grants that help educators establish welcoming, well-equipped classrooms.
• Teacher and Staff Recognition programs that celebrate excellence and dedication across the district.
