Kearney School District Education Foundation

The KSD Education Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that fosters academic excellence through cooperation among educators parents alums and the local community. Our mission is to enrich the educational experience of students attending Kearney public schools paving the way for a brighter future in ways not supported by tax dollars. Since our establishment in 2010 we have contributed over $500000 in support to Kearney schools staff and students. This includes: Classroom Innovation Grants to help provide hands-on project-based learning experiences in STEAM subjects. Special Allocation Grants to help support enhanced projects rooted in learning created by KSD teachers. Scholarships to help seniors pursue higher education. Teacher and Staff Awards to recognize staff for exemplary teaching. Join us for the Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot! All registration fees support the Kearney Education Foundation and the KSD cross country team!
