Lions serve. Its that simple and it has been since we first began in 1917.
Lions Clubs are places where individuals join together to give their valuable time and effort to improving their communities and the world. The Kearney Lions Club meets at 7pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at Kearney City Hall. Visitors are welcome to attend to see what we're all about and new members can can join at any time.
The Lions Club supports the local community through scholarships for graduating Kearney students, providing eye glasses for kids in need, loaning durable medical equipment free of charge and much more!
The Kearney Lions Club have collection boxes for used eyeglasses throughout the Kearney, Excelsior Springs, and Liberty communities. Contact Clayton Mooney at 816-635-3811 for questions about our durable medical equipment loan program or Marion Hood at 816-320-3632 for all other inquiries.
