The Kearney Fire & Rescue Protection District provides fire, rescue, and Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance services from its headquarters at 201 E. 6th Street in Kearney. Serving Kearney and 82 square miles of north central Clay County, the district is committed to extinguishing fires, rescuing people, providing emergency medical treatment, handling hazardous materials, and offering life-saving assistance during weather events.
